1.01 cup (240 ml) Hot coffee
3.04 tbsp (45 ml) Irish whiskey
2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) Whipped cream

Prepare glass
Pre-warm a stemmed Irish coffee glass by filling it with hot water for 1 minute, then discard the water and dry the glass.

Pour hot coffee (240 ml) into the warmed glass and stir in 2 teaspoons sugar until fully dissolved.

Stir in 45 ml of Irish whiskey until well mixed with the coffee.

Gently float 60 ml of lightly whipped cream on top by pouring over the back of a spoon so it rests above the coffee.

Serve immediately. Optional: garnish with a light grating of cocoa powder or nutmeg if desired.
