Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick cut bacon slices until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Flip halfway through for even cooking. Once done, remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the bacon is cooking, chop the baby iceberg lettuce into wedges. Dice the tomato, slice the cucumber, and thinly slice the red onion.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Assemble the Wedge

On a large serving plate, place the iceberg wedges upright. Top each wedge with diced tomato, cucumber slices, and red onion.

  2. 4

    Add the Toppings

Crumble the cooked bacon over the salad and sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese.

  3. 5

    Drizzle with Dressing

Drizzle the blue cheese dressing generously over the top of the salad wedges.
