Budino Base

Prepare the Base
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.

Add Dairy
Gradually add whole milk and heavy cream, whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth.

Cook Until Thickened
Continue to cook over medium heat, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

Cool
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before pouring it into serving cups. Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
Peanut Butter Layer

Prepare Peanut Butter Layer
In a mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until fluffy and smooth.

Layer on Budino
Once the budino has set, spoon the peanut butter mixture over the top of each cup and smooth it out evenly.
Chocolate Ganache

Make Ganache
In a small saucepan, heat 0.5 cup of heavy cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and fully melted.

Top the Peanut Butter Layer
Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer in each cup, letting it drizzle down the sides.

Prepare Toppings
Chop the Reese's peanut butter cups into small pieces and sprinkle them over the top of the ganache.
