Cook the Curd
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and combined.
- 5
Fill the Crust
Pour the key lime curd into the cooled graham cracker crust. Spread evenly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
Whipped Cream

Whip the Cream
In a large bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip on medium speed until soft peaks form.
- 7
Top the Pie
Once the key lime pie is set, remove it from the refrigerator and spread the whipped cream over the top. You can also pipe the whipped cream for a decorative effect.
- 8
Serve
Slice the key lime pie and serve chilled. Enjoy!
