Method

Turkey

1

Prepare the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Rinse the turkey breast and pat it dry with paper towels.

2

Season the Turkey

Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, then season it with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary.

3

Roast the Turkey

Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).

4

Rest the Turkey

Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Stuffing

5

Prepare the Vegetables

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.

6

Combine Stuffing Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the vegetable broth and mix until the bread is moistened.

7

Bake the Stuffing

Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown.

Gravy

8

Make the Gravy

After removing the turkey, pour the drippings from the roasting pan into a saucepan. Whisk in the flour to create a roux and cook for 2 minutes.

9

Add Broth

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, then season with salt and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

Cranberry Sauce

10

Cook the Cranberries

In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.

11

Add Flavor

Cook the mixture for about 10 minutes, or until the cranberries burst. Stir in the orange zest and remove from heat.
