Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Prepare Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix Meat

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ground bacon. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix well using your hands until fully incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal parts and form into patties, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (160°F for medium).

Prepare Toppings

  1. 5

    Cook Eggs

In a small skillet, cook the eggs sunny-side up or to your preference. Add a pinch of salt and pepper for flavor.

  2. 6

    Chop Green Onions

While the eggs are cooking, finely chop the green onions and set aside.

  3. 7

    Prepare Cream Cheese

Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature for easy spreading.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

    Layer Ingredients

On a plate or cutting board, spread cream cheese on the bottom bun. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by a layer of spring mix, a sunny-side up egg, and a sprinkle of chopped green onions.

  2. 9

    Add Syrup and Top Bun

Drizzle maple bourbon syrup over the egg and top with the top bun. Press down gently to secure.

  3. 10

    Serve

Serve the burger immediately with your choice of sides.
