Prepare Burger Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ground bacon. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix well using your hands until fully incorporated.

Form Patties
Divide the meat mixture into two equal parts and form into patties, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cook Patties
Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (160°F for medium).

Chop Green Onions
While the eggs are cooking, finely chop the green onions and set aside.

Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature for easy spreading.
Assemble the Burger

Layer Ingredients
On a plate or cutting board, spread cream cheese on the bottom bun. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by a layer of spring mix, a sunny-side up egg, and a sprinkle of chopped green onions.

Drizzle maple bourbon syrup over the egg and top with the top bun. Press down gently to secure.
