Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat well. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before flaking into bite-sized pieces.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine finely shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss well to combine and set aside to let the flavors meld.

Taco Assembly

  1. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, just until pliable.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a portion of the grilled fish, top with the cabbage slaw, and add slices of avocado. Drizzle with sour cream or Greek yogurt and your favorite hot sauce.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for extra flavor.
