Tater Tots

Toppings

Habanero Ranch Drizzle

Method

Prepare the Tater Tots

  1. 1

    Cook the Tater Tots

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle with vegetable oil to ensure even cooking. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 2

    Prepare the Bacon

While the tater tots are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool for a few minutes, then chop into small pieces.

Prepare the Eggs

  1. 3

    Fry the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set and the yolks are still sunny, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Make the Habanero Ranch Drizzle

  1. 4

    Blend the Drizzle

In a blender, combine the ranch dressing and the whole habanero pepper (remove seeds for less heat, if desired). Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assemble the Empire Tots

  1. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the tater tots are crispy, remove them from the oven. Top with chopped bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced green onions. Carefully place a sunny-side-up egg on top of the stack. Drizzle with habanero ranch sauce. Serve hot and enjoy!
