Noodles and Sauce
Method
Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Cook the Protein
In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add a splash of oil and sauté your choice of protein (chicken, steak, or shrimp) until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Sauté Vegetables
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if necessary. Add the cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, and green onions. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Combine Noodles and Sauce
Add the cooked yakisoba noodles and the sauce to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Add Protein
Return the cooked protein to the skillet and mix well. Cook for another minute to combine flavors.
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and additional chopped green onions if desired.
