1. Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.

2. Marinate the Filet Mignon

Place the filet mignon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the steaks are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

3. Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, preheat it on the stove over medium-high heat.

4. Cook the Mushrooms

In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.

5. Grill the Filet Mignon

Remove the steaks from the marinade and place them on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

6. Serve

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve the filet mignon topped with sautéed mushrooms.
