Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

DAMSO | 3% abv | 25oz bottle. Makgeolli is a CLOUDY sweet rice wine. lower in abv with delicious fruit flavors. Pairs great with seafood pancake and meat dishes.

Rinse the sweet rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for at least 8 hours or overnight.

Prepare the Sweet Rice

Drain the soaked rice and steam it for about 30-40 minutes until fully cooked and slightly sticky. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

Steam the Rice

In a large bowl, combine the cooled rice, koji, and sugar. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Mix Ingredients

Transfer the mixture to a fermentation jar. Add the water, yuzu juice, peach puree, and yeast. Stir gently to combine.

Fermentation Setup

Cover the jar with a cloth or a loose lid to allow air circulation. Let it ferment at room temperature for 3-5 days. Stir the mixture once a day.

Ferment

After fermentation, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to separate the liquid from the solids. Pour the liquid into clean bottles.

Strain and Bottle

Refrigerate the bottles for a few hours before serving. Enjoy your homemade Peach Yuzu Makgeolli chilled.
