Main Ingredients

Chili Garlic Sauce

Method

Prep the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Clean the Shrimp

Rinse the peeled and deveined shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Make the Chili Garlic Sauce

  1. 2

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, red chili flakes, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.

Cook the Shrimp

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.

  3. 5

    Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared chili garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp in the skillet. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly in the sauce.

  4. 6

    Add Scallions

Stir in the chopped scallions and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the scallions to wilt slightly.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the chili garlic shrimp to a serving dish. Serve hot.
