Directions
- 1
Prepare the Vinegar Reduction
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the balsamic vinegar to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until it thickens and reduces to about 1/3 of its original volume. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 2
Prepare the Watermelon
Cut the seedless watermelon into bite-sized cubes or wedges.
- 3
Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the baby greens, watermelon, and fresh basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.
- 4
Serve
Place the salad mixture on a serving platter. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it on top of the salad. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the salad just before serving.
