Cook Sweet Potatoes
Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into cubes. Add them to the pot, along with the vegetable broth, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender.

Blend the Soup
Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth. Alternatively, you can transfer the soup in batches to a blender and blend until smooth. Return to the pot and keep warm.

Cook Sweet Potato Mostarda
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of cubed sweet potato, honey, mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Cook over medium heat until the sweet potatoes are soft and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.

Prepare Garnish
Chop the walnuts and toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 5 minutes. Set aside.

Ladle the sweet potato soup into bowls, top with a spoonful of sweet potato mostarda, a drizzle of crema, and sprinkle with toasted walnuts. Serve warm.
