Method

Preparation

1

Chill the Glass

If desired, chill your glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water for a few minutes.

2

Measure the Bourbon

Using a jigger or measuring tool, pour 2 oz of Maker's Mark Bourbon into a mixing glass or directly into your chilled glass.

3

Add Water (Optional)

If you prefer a slightly diluted drink, add 1 oz of water to the bourbon. This step is optional and based on personal preference.

4

Add Ice (Optional)

If you like your whisky chilled, add ice to the glass. You can choose to add a single large ice cube or a handful of smaller ones.

5

Stir (Optional)

Gently stir the mixture in your glass if you added water or ice. This will help chill the drink and mix the flavors.

Garnishing

6

Garnish (Optional)

If desired, garnish your drink with a slice of orange peel and a maraschino cherry for added flavor and presentation.
