Pasta Preparation

Cook Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Cook Sausage
Add the Jake's Country Sausage to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Pour in the crushed tomatoes, and add the dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Combine and Serve
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the sausage ragù. Toss to combine and heat through. Serve in bowls, topped with fresh basil, dollops of ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese.
