Pork Tenderloin

Method

Preparing the Pork Tenderloin

  1. 1

    Season the Pork

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rub the pork tenderloin with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork

In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned (about 2-3 minutes per side).

  3. 3

    Roast the Pork

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the pork for 20-25 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Making the Sandwich

  1. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the pork rests, split the potato buns and lightly toast them on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each bun, layer slices of the pork tenderloin, followed by mozzarella cheese, a generous spoonful of red sauce, pickled peppers, and finish with grated Parmigiano-Reggiano. Top with the other half of the bun.

Making the Parmesan-Herb Fries

  1. 6

    Bake the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, typically baking at 425°F (220°C) for about 20-25 minutes.

  2. 7

    Season the Fries

Once the fries are baked and crispy, remove them from the oven and toss with grated Parmesan cheese, dried herbs, and salt to taste.
