Prepare the Glass
Chill a rocks glass by filling it with ice water and set it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 1 oz of Campari.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the mixture.

Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Discard the ice water from the chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.

Garnish
Express the oils of a slice of orange peel over the drink and then place it as a garnish.
