Preparation
- 1
Slice the Sourdough
Using a serrated knife, slice the Blue Dog sourdough bread into even pieces, approximately 1-inch thick.
- 2
Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the sliced sourdough on a baking sheet and lightly brush each slice with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Assembly
- 3
Prepare the Burrata
While the bread is toasting, carefully open the burrata cheese package. Drain any excess liquid and let it rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes to enhance its flavor.
- 4
Plate the Dish
Once the bread is toasted, place the slices on a serving platter. Gently tear the burrata and place it in the center of the platter.
- 5
Drizzle with Oils
Drizzle the toasted sourdough slices and burrata with olive oil and San Giacomo balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
