Method
Preparing the Salad
- 1
Wash and Prepare Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons and Parmesan
Sprinkle the croutons evenly over the chopped romaine lettuce. Grate the parmesan cheese and add it on top of the croutons.
Making the Dressing
- 3
Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a medium mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic (finely chopped), lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and olive oil. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
- 4
Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to the dressing to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed and whisk again to incorporate.
Assembling the Salad
- 5
Toss the Salad
Pour the prepared dressing over the salad mixture in the bowl. Gently toss everything together until the lettuce, croutons, and parmesan are well coated with the dressing.
- 6
Serve
Transfer the Caesar salad to serving plates or bowls. Optionally, garnish with additional parmesan cheese or croutons before serving. Enjoy your fresh Caesar salad!
