Method
Fruit Purée (if making fresh)
- 1
Prepare Purée
Place the chopped seasonal fruit, 0.5 tsp sugar, and 0.25 oz fresh lime juice in a blender or food processor. Purée until smooth. If the purée is very thick, add up to 1 tsp water to reach a pourable but still thick consistency. Taste and adjust sweetness; add a touch more sugar if the fruit is tart. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for a silky texture, pressing with a spatula; discard solids or reserve for garnish.

Build the Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 6 oz). Add 2 oz Lunazul Blanco tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz fruit purée, and 0.5 oz simple syrup. Secure the lid.
- 3
Dry-shake (without ice) for 8–10 seconds if you want extra body and integration, then add ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
- 4
Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass over fresh ice, or into a chilled coupe if serving straight up.

Salt the Rim
Run the lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Pour a small amount of coarse salt onto a plate and dip the moistened rim into the salt to coat. Discard excess.
- 6
Garnish the cocktail with a slice or wheel of the fruit of the moment and the lime wedge. Serve immediately.
