Method
Prepare Glass
- 1
Chill and salt rim
Select a rocks or coupe/margarita glass and optionally chill it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Take a lime wedge and run it around the outer rim of the glass (or the inner lip, depending on preference). Pour the kosher salt onto a small plate, then press and twist the moistened rim into the salt to coat evenly. Tap off any excess.
Mix the Cocktail
- 2
Fill a cocktail shaker with the measured ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz Lunazul Blanco tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup or agave nectar to the shaker.
- 3
Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty (this chills and dilutes to proper balance).
