Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Sole
Rinse the Dover sole fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Brown the Butter
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Cook the Sole
Add the seasoned Dover sole fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.
- 4
Add Lemon and Capers
Reduce the heat to low, then add the lemon juice and capers to the skillet. Cook for an additional minute to heat through, spooning the sauce over the fish.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately, drizzling the brown butter sauce over the fish.
