Prepare the Gailan
Rinse the gailan under cold water and trim the ends of the stems. Cut the stems into 2-inch pieces and the leaves into larger pieces.

Blanch the Gailan
In a large pot of boiling water, add a pinch of salt and blanch the gailan for about 1-2 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking.

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Finish with Sesame Seeds
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the gailan and toss to combine. Cook for an additional minute to warm through.
