Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rice and water in a rice cooker or pot and cook according to the rice cooker's instructions or until the water is absorbed and rice is tender. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Season the Rice

In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Pour this mixture over the warm rice and gently fold to combine. Allow the rice to cool to room temperature.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Cut the ahi tuna into bite-sized cubes. In a bowl, combine the tuna, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well to coat the tuna.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Toppings

Slice the avocado and green onions. Have all toppings ready and in separate bowls for assembly.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Poké Bowl

In a bowl, add a generous scoop of seasoned sushi rice. Top with the marinated tuna, avocado slices, green onions, seaweed salad, pickled ginger, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
