Rib Eye Steak
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps them cook evenly.
- 2
Season the Steak
Generously season both sides of the ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper.
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 4
Sear the Steak
Add the ribeye steaks to the pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side, until a nice crust forms.
- 5
Add Aromatics
Flip the steaks over, add crushed garlic cloves and rosemary to the pan, and sear for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
- 6
Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- 7
Serve
Slice against the grain and serve hot. Enjoy your perfectly cooked ribeye steak!
