Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccini
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.
Chicken and Broccoli
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from grill and let rest before slicing.
- 3
Prepare the Broccoli
In the same pot used for pasta, bring a small amount of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 4
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
Combine and Serve
- 5
Combine Everything
In a large mixing bowl or pot, combine the cooked fettuccini, sliced grilled chicken, blanched broccoli, and Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
