Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading

In three separate shallow dishes, place the all-purpose flour in one, the beaten eggs mixed with milk in the second, and the cornmeal combined with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in the third.

  2. 2

    Bread the Fish

Dredge each Swai fillet in the flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the egg mixture, then coat with the cornmeal mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  4. 4

    Fry the Fish

Carefully add the breaded fillets to the skillet in a single layer. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Drain and Serve

Remove the fried fish from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
