Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and ground ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly (about 5-7 minutes).
- 2
Prepare the Turkey Ham
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the turkey ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
- 3
Glaze the Ham
Pour half of the pineapple glaze over the scored turkey ham, making sure it seeps into the cuts. Reserve the remaining glaze for later.
- 4
Bake the Ham
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake the turkey ham for 1 hour. Remove the foil, brush with additional glaze, and add pineapple slices on top. Bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes or until heated through and caramelized.
- 5
Serve
Remove the turkey ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with cherries if desired. Serve warm.
