Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Crab Cake Mixture
In a large bowl, combine fresh lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, bread crumbs, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- 2
Form the Patties
Shape the crab mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Chill the Patties
Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help firm up the patties.
- 4
Fry the Crab Cakes
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the crab patties and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Sliders
On each mini burger bun, place a lettuce leaf, a fried crab cake, a slice of tomato, and a dollop of tartar sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve immediately with extra tartar sauce on the side.
