Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onion, beaten egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper until well incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Crabcakes

Shape the mixture into patties, approximately 2-3 inches in diameter. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper if broiling or on a plate if frying.

  3. 3

    Broiling Method

Preheat the broiler. Place the crabcakes on the baking sheet under the broiler for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Frying Method

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the crabcakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from heat and let drain on paper towels if fried. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce or cocktail sauce.
