Method

Strawberry Rhubarb Jam

    Prepare the Fruit

    Wash and hull the strawberries, then chop them into smaller pieces. Chop the rhubarb into 1-inch pieces.

    Cook the Jam

    In a large pot, combine strawberries, rhubarb, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.

    Add Pectin

    Once boiling, stir in the pectin and bring the mixture back to a rolling boil for 1 minute.

    Jar the Jam

    Pour hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Seal with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

Bourbon Blueberry Jam

    Prepare the Blueberries

    Rinse the blueberries and remove any stems.

    Cook the Jam

    In a large pot, combine blueberries, sugar, bourbon, and lemon juice. Heat over medium until the mixture boils.

    Add Pectin

    Stir in the pectin and bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.

    Jar the Jam

    Transfer the hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Seal with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

Apple Butter

    Prepare the Apples

    Peel and chop the apples into small pieces.

    Cook the Apple Butter

    In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft.

    Blend the Mixture

    Once the apples are soft, use an immersion blender to puree the mixture until smooth.

    Simmer and Jar

    Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 1-2 hours until thickened. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

Raspberry Jam

    Prepare the Raspberries

    Wash the raspberries gently and remove any stems.

    In a large pot, combine raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
