Lavash, Grissini, and Condiments

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Lavash

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast. In a separate bowl, mix the water, olive oil, and honey. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Roll Out the Lavash

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Once the dough has risen, divide it into two pieces. Roll each piece into a thin sheet (about 1/8 inch thick). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake the Lavash

Bake the rolled dough in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool.

  4. 4

    Prepare Grissini

Take the grissini sticks and arrange them in a serving dish.

  5. 5

    Prepare Condiments

In small bowls, serve olive tapenade, hummus, and baba ganoush alongside the lavash and grissini.
