Brioche Dinner Rolls

Method

Preparation of Brioche Dinner Rolls

  1. 1

    Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm milk (about 110°F) with sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the frothy yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs to the flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    First Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

  6. 6

    Shape Rolls

Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place in a greased baking pan.

  7. 7

    Second Rise

Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again for about 30-45 minutes until puffy.

  8. 8

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  9. 9

    Bake the Rolls

Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool slightly before serving.
