Method

Appetizer

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Salad

In a bowl, combine the fresh Dungeness crab meat with lemon juice, mayonnaise, chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine all ingredients without breaking the crab meat.

  2. 2

    Serve

Place a handful of mixed greens on each plate and top with the crab salad. Drizzle with additional lemon juice if desired.

Main Course

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the salmon fillets.

  2. 4

    Bake the Salmon

Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top each fillet with lemon slices. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Dessert

  1. 5

    Make the Blueberry Cake

In a saucepan, combine fresh blueberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the blueberries start to burst. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Batter

In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder, and milk, mixing until just combined.

  3. 7

    Combine and Bake

Pour half of the batter into a greased baking dish. Spread the blueberry mixture on top, then pour the remaining batter over the blueberries. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Beverage

  1. 8

    Serve the Wine

Chill the local white wine in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Pour into glasses and serve alongside the meal.
