Sea Bass Piccata Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sea Bass

Season the sea bass fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides. Dredge each fillet in flour, shaking off excess.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fillets

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and capers, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Return the sea bass fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
