Crab Cake
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, beaten egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Gently fold the ingredients together until well combined.
- 2
Form the Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. You should be able to make around 6 cakes.
- 3
Chill the Cakes
Place the formed crab cakes on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.
- 4
Cook the Cakes
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chilled crab cakes and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
