Method

Preparing the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Chop Jalapenos

Finely chop the jalapeno peppers, removing seeds if you prefer less heat.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

Making the Beer Cheese Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt Cream Cheese

In a saucepan over medium heat, add cream cheese and stir until it starts to melt.

  2. 5

    Add Beer and Cheese

Slowly pour in the beer, stirring continuously. Once incorporated, add cheddar cheese, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 6

    Stir Until Smooth

Continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 7

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 8

    Cook Patties

Add the patties to the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 9

    Prepare Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 10

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, a cooked patty, a generous amount of beer cheese sauce, tomato slices, and red onion.

  3. 11

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the bun, serve immediately, and enjoy!
