Preparing the Pork Chops

Marinate the Pork Chops
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Place the pork chops in a zip-top bag or a shallow dish, and pour the marinade over the chops. Make sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for best flavor.

Grilling or Cooking the Chops
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Take the marinated pork chops out of the fridge and let them come to room temperature for about 15 minutes. Grill the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they have nice grill marks and are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C). If you prefer BBQ style, brush BBQ sauce on the chops during the last few minutes of grilling.

Cooking Green Beans
In a medium pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.

Making Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
