Prepare the Filling

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together the cooked rice, black beans, refried beans, taco seasoning, and jalapeños until well combined.

Heat the Filling
Transfer the mixture to a skillet over medium heat. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
Assemble the Burritos

Warm the Tortillas
In another skillet, warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

Fill the Tortillas
Place about 1/4 of the filling in the center of each tortilla. If using chicken, add it at this stage.

Wrap the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling.
Serve

Add Toppings
Place the wrapped burritos on plates and top with creamy queso, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream.

Serve each burrito with a side of salsa for dipping.
