Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into 2 meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.

Cook the Meatballs
In a skillet over medium heat, heat a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Serve
Serve the meatballs in the sauce, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
