Burger Patties

Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Patties

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 1 tsp of salt, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent bulging during cooking.

Grilling the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it is clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Patties

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are grilling, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled patty, tomato slice, onion slice, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
