Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set them aside.

Cheese Filling

  1. 3

    Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

  2. 4

    Chop Mushroom Stems

Finely chop the mushroom stems that were removed earlier and mix them into the cheese filling for added flavor.

Stuffing and Baking

  1. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Spoon the cheese filling into each mushroom cap, pressing down gently to pack the mixture.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Topping

In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with olive oil and additional chopped parsley. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Top the Mushrooms

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the stuffed mushrooms.

  4. 8

    Bake the Mushrooms

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve Warm

Remove the mushrooms from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
