Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.
- 2
Season the Wings
Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and olive oil to the chicken wings. Toss to ensure all wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40–45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine hot sauce and butter over medium heat. Stir until the butter melts and the mixture is well combined.
- 5
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 6
Mix the Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Use a fork or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
- 7
Chill the Dressing
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
