Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Cut in Butter
Add the unsalted butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Milk and Cream
Stir in the milk and heavy cream until just combined. Do not overmix.

Shape the Biscuits
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times. Pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.

Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
