Mixing the Drink
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the Whistlepig Rye Whiskey, Angostura Bitters, and Simple Syrup. Stir gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnishing

Twist a piece of lemon peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in. Add a cocktail cherry on top for an extra touch.
