Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Romaine

Wash and chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add the Dressing

Pour the Caesar dressing over the chopped Romaine lettuce and toss gently to coat the leaves evenly.

  3. 3

    Add Grana Padano

Grate the Grana Padano cheese and sprinkle it over the dressed Romaine. Toss again to distribute the cheese throughout the salad.

Garlic Crouton Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Bread

Cut the baguette into small cubes, about 1-inch in size.

  2. 5

    Make Garlic Oil

Mince the garlic cloves and combine them with the olive oil in a bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavor.

  3. 6

    Toss Croutons

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a separate bowl, toss the bread cubes with the garlic oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  4. 7

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.
