Prep the Glass
Chill a rocks glass by placing it in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes or by filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add the 6 Year Rye Whiskey, Root Beer Syrup, Orange Bitters, and Chocolate Bitters. Fill with ice cubes.

Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and combined.

Prepare the Glass
Remove the chilled rocks glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. If desired, rinse the glass with a small amount of rye whiskey and discard.

Strain the Cocktail
Using a strainer, pour the chilled cocktail mixture into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice cubes.

Garnish
Express the oils from a lemon peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish.
