Preparation

  1. 1

    Gather Ingredients

Collect all the ingredients: Lismore Speyside Single Malt Scotch, Drambuie, Heering Cherry Liqueur, and an orange for the twist.

  2. 2

    Prepare Glassware

Choose a suitable glass for serving your Rusty Compass cocktail. A rocks glass or an old-fashioned glass works well.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Liquors

In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in 2 oz of Lismore Speyside Single Malt Scotch, 1 oz of Drambuie, and 0.5 oz of Heering Cherry Liqueur.

  2. 4

    Stir

Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled and combined.

Serving

  1. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Twist the orange slice over the drink to release its oils, then place it in the glass as a garnish.
