For Baked Gnocchi & Impossible Meatballs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fra Diavolo Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Cook the Impossible Meatballs

In a separate bowl, form the Impossible ground meat into small meatballs. In a skillet, heat a little olive oil and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.

  4. 4

    Combine Gnocchi and Sauce

Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float. Drain and add them to the skillet with the fra diavolo sauce. Stir to combine.

  5. 5

    Add Meatballs and Bake

Gently fold in the cooked meatballs into the gnocchi and sauce mixture, then transfer everything to a baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and serve hot.
